The Healthy Canada by Design CLASP Initiative is no longer funded. These webpages contain the resources created during the initiative for reference.
CLASP was a partnership of national health, planning and transportation organizations, region and local health authorities, non-governmental organizations and university researchers that are collaborating to bring health considerations into land use and transportation planning processes with the goal of creating healthy communities that support active transportation and physical activity.
Begun in 2009, the Healthy Canada by Design (HCBD) CLASP partnership, was funded by Health Canada through the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer’s (CPAC) Coalitions Linking Action & Science for Prevention (CLASP) program. While this website has been made possible by the financial support of CPAC, the views expressed herein represent the views of the Healthy Canada by Design CLASP Initiative and do not necessarily represent the views of the funder.
